My Roots

Dallas, TX raised me until I moved to Des Moines, IA to attend Drake University as an undergrad. Iowa has been my home for 25 years! Here, I’ve learned resilience, courage, and the value of hard work.

At Drake, I earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology and minored in both marketing and advertising. Later, I returned to earn a master’s degree in public administration with concentrations in public policy and executive development.
